Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Surveyors and Geodetic Specialists in carrying out field and office-based surveying activities;

  • Participate in field surveying activities and assist in collecting survey data;

  • Properly operate GPS, total stations, and other geodetic equipment;

  • Perform preliminary processing of survey results, organize data, and maintain records;

  • Participate in the preparation and updating of topographic plans, maps, and diagrams;

  • Collect and organize the topographic and geodetic data required for project implementation;

  • Comply with applicable technical requirements and instructions during field and office-based surveying activities;

  • Assist in the proper use, maintenance, and record-keeping of geodetic equipment;

  • Participate in topographic surveying activities for construction, mining, and engineering projects;

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Surveyor accurately and on time.

 

Requirements

  • University or secondary specialized education in Surveying, Geodesy, Land Management, Mining Engineering, or a related field;

  • Relevant work experience is an advantage but is not mandatory;

  • Basic theoretical knowledge of surveying methods and topographic surveying;

  • Interest in and willingness to learn how to operate GPS, total stations, and other geodetic equipment;

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications;

  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Surpac, Micromine, and other relevant software is an advantage;

  • Knowledge of or certifications related to GPS systems, total stations, laser scanners, and drone technologies is an advantage;

  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn and develop.
