Shift Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Ensure the safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of pump stations, the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), and other related mechanical equipment;
Organize and supervise scheduled (preventive) and corrective maintenance of pumps, motors, pipelines, valves, and other mechanical systems;
Monitor the technical condition of pumps and mechanical equipment used at the Tailings Storage Facility and ensure their continuous operation;
Promptly identify equipment malfunctions, investigate their root causes, and take appropriate corrective measures;
Determine spare parts requirements, prepare lists, and participate in the procurement process;
Monitor the implementation of equipment inspection and preventive maintenance schedules;
Read and interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and drawings and ensure their proper application;
Prepare maintenance and repair reports and monitor equipment performance indicators;
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection requirements;
Coordinate and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and other relevant departments.

Requirements

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Automation Engineering, Land Reclamation and Water Management Construction Engineering, or another related field;
Relevant work experience is considered an advantage;
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and drawings related to pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment;
Technical knowledge of pump systems and their operation;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work effectively in a team and make timely decisions;
Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and organizational skills;
Candidates from Barda, Aghdam, Tartar, Aghdara, and surrounding areas are preferred;
Preference will be given to candidates with IDP status.
