Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily procurement activities, including preparing purchase requests, sourcing suppliers, and placing purchase orders;
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers, obtain commercial quotations, and compare prices and commercial terms;
- Coordinate closely with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Quality departments to ensure the timely availability of required materials and services;
- Review and process procurement requests received from end users and ensure timely execution of the relevant procurement processes;
- Prepare, process, and monitor purchase orders (POs) throughout the procurement cycle;
- Collaborate with the Project Manager in preparing quarterly forecasts for consumables and service requirements;
- Ensure that procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, delivery notes, and related documents, is accurately prepared, maintained, and properly filed;
- Work closely with the Accounting team to facilitate timely supplier invoice processing and payments by providing complete and accurate documentation;
- Investigate and resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quantity discrepancies, and product or service quality concerns, escalating critical issues to the relevant manager when necessary;
- Monitor supplier performance, order status, and delivery timelines;
- Prepare weekly procurement reports covering procurement activities, supplier performance, order status, and key issues raised by end users;
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and applicable requirements;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records in ERP and other relevant systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in the mining, manufacturing, or industrial sector;
- Professional procurement certifications are considered an advantage;
- Strong negotiation, supplier managemnt, and contract administration skills;
- Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Oracle, or other ERP platforms);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and operational environment.
- Fluent English is required;
- Knowledge of Russian is considered an advantage.
