Since its establishment, AIMC has contributed to employment in its operations locality. The Company aimed to contribute to the national employment objectives as well as to enhance social cohesion by creating jobs to empower residents and improve their social welfare, especially focusing on disadvantaged groups. Working hand in hand with local authorities, the Company managed to identify residents in need of job opportunities and as a result, significantly reshaped the local picture of unemployment. At the present, the number of local employees in the Company amounts to more than 80 % of the total number of full-time employees. The Company keeps residents of adjacent areas in the focal point of its recruitment policy as the main scope of its geology exploration and operation works take place in those areas.
