Job Responsibilities

Maintain accounting records of financial transactions related to mining operations;

Ensure accurate accounting of production costs, including depreciation, payroll, fuel, equipment maintenance, and other expenses;

Support the Chief Accountant (or Senior Accountant) in preparing and submitting tax and statistical reports on time;

Manage, monitor, and properly document settlements with counterparties;
-
Process bank payments and other financial transactions;
-
Perform accounting operations related to payroll, business trips, and other employee payments;
-
Provide support during internal and external audits;
-
Ensure that financial transactions are carried out in compliance with legislation and state regulations applicable to the mining industry;
-
Accurately and timely record financial transactions in ERP or other accounting systems.
Requirements

University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
-
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience (experience in the mining or extractive industry is considered an advantage);

Knowledge of the Tax Code and Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, IFRS, and other relevant regulatory acts;

Knowledge and practical skills in cost accounting and analytical accounting in production companies;
-
Proficiency in ERP or other accounting software;
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, report preparation, and other functions);
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills;
-
Attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility;
-
Ability to work effectively in a team and make effective decisions under demanding working conditions;

Fluency in written and spoken Azerbaijani;
-
Knowledge of English is considered an advantage;
-
Preference will be given to candidates with IDP status.
