Ilham Khalilov

Ilham Khalilov joined AIMC in July 2013 as Financial Controller and currently serves as Vice President of Finance & Commercial Operations.

Prior to joining AIMC, he worked at the Baku office of the Big Four audit firm Ernst & Young, where he managed financial audits for major oil, gas, and mining companies.

At AIMC, Ilham oversees all aspects of financial management, including long-term financial planning, annual budgeting, cash flow management, cost optimization, financial reporting, and compliance with government reporting requirements.

He is also responsible for identifying and securing funding sources to support new development projects.

Ilham holds a degree in Finance from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

In November 2021, he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick Business School.
