Azerbaijan International Mining Company (AIMC) is the biggest gold, copper, and silver production company in Azerbaijan, with eight operation contract areas covering over
2,400 square kilometers. AIMC is the first company to build an underground mine in Azerbaijan follow the discovery of metal ores by its in-house exploration department.
The company operates both open pit and underground mines, and processes ores through five methods depending on ore type and grade to produce gold dorè or copper
concentrate. AIMC has many “firsts” in Azerbaijan relating to technical investigation of geology, extractive mining methods and mineral processing. Due to these
activities, AIMC contributes significantly to the development and growth of the mineral sector of Azerbaijan.
Recent history of AIMC included the award of three new contract areas where the company has identified copper mineralisation. Given the experience
of AIMC with the production of copper concentrate at its Gedabek projects and the copper project investment into
Libero by the parent company,
Anglo Asian Mining PLC, the company looks forward to developing its copper resources in Azerbaijan. Copper is an essential resource for future global development.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT POLICY
Azerbaijan International Mining Company (AIMC) believes that care for our people and the environment is an integral and vital part of our business.
AIMC is committed to conducting all of its activities, including exploration, operations and decommissioning, in a responsible manner that minimises risks to
the health and safety of personnel and protects the environment.
Hence, we are committed to:
- Providing a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring that our employees and contractors can perform their tasks safely, without accidents, injuries, or incidents.
- Protecting the environment by minimizing our impact on it.

Education & Training
Within Community Development, Education projects are always a main focus of the company. AIMC started with offering free Computer
classes to the community in 2011 followed by an English classes program that was launched in 2013. The English classes were
received very enthusiastically by the youth in Gedabek. Over 800 students have benefited from our education programs.

Sport Projects
i. Football was one of the sport projects that was created in 2015, with a focus on children activity. The Company supports
projects by providing all required supplies like football kit, training shoes, footballs, etc. One of our students was
selected to be one of the players of the Galatasaray junior staff.
ii. Taekwondo is our most recent sports project. The project first started with 20 children in 2019 and as of today, the
number of students is over 140. One of the students, who holds a black belt, attained a gold medal in the Junior
European Championship, the first in Azerbaijan Taekwondo history.

Local Infrastructure
Infrastructure projects form a large part of community projects of AIMC. Until now the Company has built a school in Arikhdam
village, a kindergarten in Gumlu village, repaired bridges, supported two villages to obtain potable water. The main local
infrastructure project that company supports continually is road maintenance, which it has done many times in Gedabek and
the surrounding villages.

Sustainable Business
i. The residents of Gedabek have confirmed that the Beekeeping project as established and funded by AIMC was one of the
most profitable business projects for them. There was a total of 52 participants that produced in the order of 10 tons
of honey per annum. AIMC supported them by providing them with specialty training as well as a variety of bee types. AIMC
also provided loans to beekeepers to help them get their business started and ensure that it thrived.
ii. The Carpet Center is the Company's most recent project which is focused on ensuring sustainable employment of women.
The project is focused on teaching new skills on carpet weaving to women to enable them to become financially independent
by learning a trade. AIMC will work closely to develop the project and provide the Carpet Center continued support.

Local employment focus
Since its establishment, AIMC has contributed to employment in its operations locality.
The Company aimed to contribute to the national employment objectives as well as to enhance social cohesion by creating jobs
to empower residents and improve their social welfare, especially focusing on disadvantaged groups. Working hand in hand with
local authorities, the Company managed to identify residents in need of job opportunities and as a result, significantly
reshaped the local picture of unemployment. At the present, the number of local employees in the Company amounts to more than
80 % of the total number of full-time employees. The Company keeps residents of adjacent areas in the focal point of its
recruitment policy as the main scope of its geology exploration and operation works take place in those areas.

Social Support
Apart from regional infrastructure development projects, AIMC also provides more local assistance projects as well. To improve the health of residents, AIMC covers medical expenses of residents, who require assistance. Every holiday, the Company provides over 130 food boxes to low-income families. Close to 20 children receive school supplies and uniforms each year. Also, to improve living conditions, AIMC provides construction material supply to residents. We are more than what we say, we try to create positive impact in the Community and hope.
