Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, register, and prepare laboratory samples for chemical analysis;

  • Prepare, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments, equipment, and tools used for chemical analysis;

  • Inspect laboratory equipment (balances, pH meters, dispensers, mixers, burettes, etc.) to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions to the relevant personnel;

  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of laboratory equipment, instruments, and work areas;

  • Monitor the availability of chemical reagents and notify the relevant personnel when replenishment is required;

  • Perform chemical analyses of cyanide-bearing soil samples received from various production sites;

  • Prepare samples for precious metals analysis using appropriate chemical reagents;

  • Calculate, record, and report analysis results to the Laboratory Engineer;

  • Ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in accordance with laboratory safety procedures;

  • Participate in receiving, transporting, and organizing laboratory reagents and other materials;

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations and provide support when required;

  • Report any laboratory-related issues or incidents to the laboratory management in a timely manner;

  • Perform other job-related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry Education, Biology Education, Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Laboratory Science, or a related field;

  • Previous work experience is considered an advantage;

  • Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory equipment;

  • Understanding of laboratory safety procedures and safe handling of chemicals;

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under a shift work schedule;

  • Candidates residing in or originating from Gadabay, the Karabakh region, or nearby areas are preferred;

  • Preference will be given to internally displaced persons (IDPs).

Working Conditions
